When the courses in Mesquite close down for annual Fall overseeding, you can still play on excellent conditions just 30 minutes north in St. George, Utah! Most of the golf courses in St. George don’t need to close in September for overseeding like the courses in Mesquite and most in Las Vegas.
Due to a bit cooler temps and higher elevation, the newer courses have taken advantage of newer strains of turf, which withstand the heat and cold much better than Bermuda. Thankfully for our lucky golfers there is no need for overseeding with the winter.
